What do you need to rent an apartment?
For short-term rental, simply select an apartment on this page: https://japartments.jp/, fill out the booking form, and complete the payment. Once completed, your booking will be immediately confirmed.
For long-term rental, please choose an apartment on this page https://japartments.jp/long-term-rent/, fill out the booking form, and we will assist you.
What is included in the apartment?
The apartment is fully equipped for comfortable living: a sleeping area, a place to eat and work on a laptop, a TV, all necessary household appliances, towels, cleaning supplies, tableware, cookware, a washing machine, etc.
You can move in with just one suitcase and live comfortably right away!
How does the move-in process work?
You will either be met at the location and shown the apartment, or you will use a key box for self check-in (depending on your arrival time).
Can you help me with moving?
Yes, we can help you move for ¥10,000. This includes transport in one kei truck (light cargo car). You will need to pack your belongings yourself — we will assist with loading and unloading. Please make sure each box weighs no more than 20 kg.
Is there parking available?
There are parking spaces nearby which can be rented separately, and there are coin-operated parking lots close to the apartments.
Is there parking for motorcycles or scooters?
Some properties have free parking spaces for bicycles, scooters, or motorcycles, but the number of spaces is limited. You can check availability on the apartment’s page or by contacting us.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, you can move into our apartments with a pet.
Can I register my residence in these apartments?
Yes, you can register your residence, but please inform us in advance.
Are utility bills included in the rent?
For monthly rentals, the cost of water, gas, and electricity is included in the rent.
For long-term rentals (2-year contract), utility bills are paid separately by the tenant.
Do I need a guarantor or a guarantor company?
No guarantor or guarantor company is required.
Do I need to pay a deposit or key money?
For short-term rental, no key money or deposit is required.
For long-term rentals, no key money needed.
As for deposit, we offer two options for long-term rental:
– With deposit — ¥49,000 deposit, monthly rent ¥49,000 + utilities.
– No deposit — monthly rent ¥54,000 + utilities.
You can switch to the deposit plan at any time if you prefer to lower the monthly rent.
If I want to extend my stay, when should I inform you?
For short-term rentals, please notify us as soon as possible if you want to extend your stay. The closer to the end of your rental period, the higher the chance the apartment will be booked by someone else.
For long-term rentals, the contract is automatically renewed. If you wish to terminate the contract, please notify us at least 30 days before your planned move-out date.
Long-term rental terms:
- Utility bills are paid by the tenant.
- Contract term is 2 years with automatic renewal.
- There is no renewal fee or additional charges.
To terminate the contract, please notify us at least 30 days before your planned move-out date.
Early termination penalty:
- If terminated within the first year — ¥98,000 (2 months’ rent).
- If terminated within the second year — ¥49,000 (1 month’s rent).
- No penalty after 2 years.
